I don't know if they're lightly stamped or just worn down.

Just on the side note - they can't be worn down, because that would mean the cymbal is thinned at certain area, or as a whole - the lathing grooves would be gone, etc. That happens only when some strange people take some very rough sandpaper and put where it should not be put.

They're probably just lightly stamped, wich, on the other hand, happens all the time, even with modern cymbals.

i.e.:

"all Trans-stamps are between 6-700g's"...

"all 60's ones are between 8-900g's"

I have Trans-stamps which are 750/820...

and 60's ones which are 730/820...

...and 70's ones which are about the same....
