OK then,
I'll bet it is that A.Zil pictured..........
He was just using a 4 year old cymbal.........
Bet the thing sounds great (to whoever has it now!)
That thing sure has a big bell on it.
I just located a couple of more shots of it. If you look real closely, you can see secondary group of holes closer to the edge, and which are much smaller and even more numerous than the others:

I love the expression on his face in this one, and the cigarette compliments it too:

Apparently he used this cymbal on some recordings too.
There's an easy explanation; some people who own cymbals are idiots!

In fact you could probably make a good case for this one being a genuine example of an A. Zildjian & Cie., because in all the 1950's era shots I've seen of Art's set-up taken from below like this one is, the paper lables invariably show under the bells on his old stamp K's. So even though this isn't proof positive for this idea, it does at least add some further support for this theory. And this theory was first advanced not by me but by JDA (a.k.a. "bell-bridge Joe"). Although I was quite sceptical of it at first, I'm coming around more to seeing it his way as time goes on.

And you can see the secondary holes pretty clearly in this photo too.
Talk about Swiss cheese!
How many dang holes are in that thing, anyway?
