It is old Gretsch banjo key from 20´s. You can find it in my collection of drum (and now also banjo) keys www.drumkeys.eu

that's one thing i learned from my old boss...vintage drum keys go for big bucks. but i never seen one go for $200.+ like the other guy linked to. holy crap.i should start selling on ebay again!i remember seeing 2 articles in a couple of drum magazines about vintage drum keys. one was by the guy from rebeats (can't remember his name right now) its good reading but i don't remember the issues or years. probibly nsmd and modern drummer. if i find them i'll let you know.

The article you´re talking about was in September 2010 issue of DRUM!Magazine and it was written by Rob Cook (Rebeats). The last part of this article was dedicated to me and my collection of drum keys (Keymaster)

My bid of $17 on that Gretsch key went out the window quickly!! I watched that auction until the end and in the last 5 seconds, that bid was entered. Hopefully the seller gets paid!!!Cheers

arno,...Some of your keys are hand Forged...Nice collection,..BTW,...you have a key for my Phonic Sound Machine,.. How could I find one ? (the screwdriver don`t stay on) !! Left handed would be nice:D
