My bid of $17 on that Gretsch key went out the window quickly!! I watched that auction until the end and in the last 5 seconds, that bid was entered. Hopefully the seller gets paid!!!
Cheers

Dang! Im gonna be sure and go through all my drum keys. I have aquired several with various purchases. Who woulda ever thunk!
So. Do these sound better than regular keys?
As a matter of fact they do! Cant you hear the "Cha Chinggg"???
i sold a rogers kit a while ago that i got from the original owner. it had everything original from the cymbals down to the original key which i included when i sold it.
didn't think much of the key at the time. i figured it was just a cool selling point for the kit. it's good to know that it at least covered his gas money for coming to pick the kit up. after all, he came from several states away.
I'm always on the lookout for old keys to add to my collection...If any member has any for sale for a reasonable price, please, shoot me a pm... Looking for Ludwig, Rogers, Sonor, Premier, Fibes, etc.
Cheers
I have a drum key collection and didnt even know it. I have the rogers, a premier and 3 ludwigs. I rent drums to a audio company here and put a couple of drum keys in the cymbal bag. I bettter start payin attention to which keys i let them loose.
I couldnt resist here's mine. bottom is a old sonor slotted drum key, 2nd row left to right, bruno fitZall, rogers, premier, pearl
3rd row all generic, 4th row and top are ludwigs 2nd pic, ludwig hex tuning wrenches, 3rd pic evans tourqe key and my home made remo djembe tunning key. 4th pic, speed drum keys and a breakover drum key, The last one works very well when using a drum dial.
Nice collection! Please let me know if you are willing to sell any....
Cheers
