Piced up a snare drum with a pair of very old plastic heads that say made in USA...Ever hear of "Kings Stone" heads?

Depending on condition,50-100 bucks.They are great work horse drums and quite dependable..The case is a bonus,you did well.

Kents,once they,ve been tuned up and tweaked sound as good as any kit imo.I do think that 500 or under is a little high.I would think in the 2-300 ran...

Some ZG kits were pretty flimsy but i lucked out and got a kit with no mods,tight unfaded wrap,8 lug kick and snare,matching snare,all drums have cast...
