I'd try the Novus 2 and 1 on it and leave it at that. It will give you a nice gloss and lustre and will not harm the wrap in anyway. Mike

Don't modify it. That's a great drum. I'd buy a Jazz Festival if it were me...or even a Pioneer. But i'd leave the 6.5 as is.
