Howya,I have a couple of nice pre war snares...8lug Reliance NOB and a Feb 37 solid shell 14x8 Broadway Standard. Superb drums, i'd love a set some day, ideally 20/14/12 please.Spart
Is that Broadway dated inside? I'm guessing 1936 or 1937?

OK, the results are in! We've had some good ones this year and it was close, but 1st price goes to Coopers Drums for best in show. Now play us out with some of that old time Bo Diddley. Take it away! :)
Actually, don't stop posting photos of Leedy Drums. :)
Here's my 1964(but the bass drum is stamped '62 inside) Leedy by slingerland.
8x12 16x16 14x22 and a 5x14 cob Shelley Manne snare
Duco Finnish, mahogany interiors, cob sticksaver hoops.
They've had a hard life but are still kickin'!
Found them in a yardsale.
Here's the Shelley close up.
Three point strainer, original snares, the rubber grommet turned to dust the first time I threw the lever.
Needs a good polishing.
Oops....sorry, I missed the date mentioned in your earlier post. Nice drum! I guessed the date based on that version of the throw-off, which was only around for a few years.
My war time Leedy Dreadnaughts.
I would like to own a set of Leedy`s one day...There are some really nice looking drums here...Can we see more?
Cheers
1920s 1930s Leedy Reliance 26" Bass with Matching 14" Snare and Original Bass Drum Pedal and Snare Stand.
Made a Photobucket Because I am no good at loading pictures on here!
