1938 8"x15" Leedy Broadway Standard

...plus a bunch of mismatched Slingerlands that collectively make a pleasing noise.

I owned and sold a beautiful '49 Leedy kit to a friend of mine when I needed a couple of grand for my house purchase. 13/16/22 w/matching '50 Ludwig & Ludwig snare.

I then felt better after I purchased this '53 Leedy & Ludwig beauty. 12/16/22 w/matching Broadway snare.

Leedy drums are some of the best (and most beautiful) drums that were ever made!

The blue sparkle kit is one of the coolest I've seen on this site! Mojo for days!

Stunning kit, an improvement IMHO, I like a 12" tom with those sizes...

Sweet!

Mind Blowi Holy smokes! Those are some gems. They sure don't make drums like this anymore.

Howya,

I have a couple of nice pre war snares...

8lug Reliance NOB and a Feb 37 solid shell 14x8 Broadway Standard. Superb drums, i'd love a set some day, ideally 20/14/12 please.

I've only had one Leedy, really liked it and regret not keeping it. Another opportunity might convince me to own one again. I think the lugs are some of the nicest out there and the COB are really nice too.
