That pic at the bottom of the page caught my eye...
I just sent that page to the trumpet player who was on a gig around '90, and he thinks it is Sean Wilkinson, misspelled "Shan".
I played with Sean at the Sheraton Waikiki on an Oktoberfest gig - we had the whole leather lederhosen outfits with the hats. I'd been playing more keyboards and was hired to play accordian, which I was presented with right before I went on stage - I'd never played one before. Sean played drums and was a riot. He still lives in the Big Island and has been dealing with Alzheimer Disease, I'm guessing he'd be in his 90's.
Sean was from Ireland and had played with Spike Mulligan, who George Martin had recorded before the Beatles - you can hear it in "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". Sean, believe it or not, won the Irish Sweepstakes (!). He moved here to Hawaii and was playing vibes with the Don Ho Show. A favorite story was that one night he took a wireless mic in the toilet and did a live broadcast through the pa while Don was singing on stage.
