I'm looking for a pre 85 Zoomatic tension knob, and the Leedy butt plate for a COB Gene Krupa Sound King.... either, or both, but especially the tension knob... Thanks!!!

huh huh huh...he said "butt" plate. huh huh huh...

Seriously, if you need a zoomatic strainer, would it be cost prohibitive to just by a beater snare with one on it? I am somewhat blind here 'cause I've never had to price one out, but are they out there? Wondering aloud.

It probably would, I got sniped last week trying to do that, and haven't tried again .... yet. And there's the option of a repro repair, but that will be nearly as costly, without getting some extra parts from the yet-to-be-scavenged snare. So, yes, that's probably the best scenario, thanks, mcjnic. The Slingy Set needs a Snare to play with... I'm getting anxious... ohhhmmm... ohhhmmm... ohhhmmm...... ah, much better
