Hi guy's,

Has anyone ever heard of "Zimbar drums, Brooklyn NY"?

I came accross one for cheap, it's 6 lug with Re-rings.

I think you mean Zimgar drums. I believe they were a MIJ stencil brand, but not sure who made them. Pearl? Star? Nice cast hoops!

There are many fans of these MIJ stencil kits here. As far as your snare goes, I'll take one of these old luan shells over a modern steel shell anyday. Set up properly, these can sound warm and full. Enjoy it.
