Nice looking Zim Gar on the Bay, but......is this seller nuts asking six bills??
No stands, no hardware, not even a mounting arm for the Tom Tom.
I'm thinking $200 max on this set. What do ya think?

I have a blue sprkl 20,12,16,5,5 match, cast hoops, all original, dbl row of lugs, heavy drums i just love.My Zims are a joy to play but i only have about a third into mine...Not sure why his are priced so high...we should ask himParty
A uncle used to have a body and fender shop in that town.A lot of people grow their own weed up there. That set is worth exactly what you said, maybe 225 if I was completely in love with it.

Wow,600.00 for that set is way over priced..More like 150.00 would be the price...Mikey
I emailed the seller and gently told him the drums were worth much less than he was asking. Let's see what he says in reply.
I can imagine it will be very hard to replace that broken BD rim.
They,re very nice drums and sound great. The price needs to come into the 2-250 range though,i have a kit, i know what they are worth.
I had a Zim Gar kit also. The problem I found was sure, you could tune them to sound good, but go play a gig, and after 20 mins they are out of tune because of the cheapo hardware. Snare drums especially.
That being said, my first drum ever was a 1966 Zim Gar snare in Blue Sparkle which I still have and will always keep. I cant gig with it, but its my first drum of what has now been probably 100 or so.
And the rest...
