Zilko, what have I bought

Folks, today I bought this for 25 Euro's. It's 15 inch. Wiki sais:

Stambul - their old top-of-the-line cymbals, produced from 1932 to 1965 from NS12 nickel-bronze and later made of CuSn8 bronze.

Zilko - a cymbal line made in the 1950s second to Stambul.

On another site (that I can't find anymore) I found that they are handmade and brass (not bronze).

But on the picture it looks like B20..... Or maybe just brass that has aged very nicely.....

How have I done? Anyone knowledgeable?

Wow. There is not much info out there. Paiste-only.com lists them as a Paiste product, but has nothing else. How does it sound?

Wanted: Pearl President floor tom in Golden Grain wrap and rack tom in Tiger Eye (root beer) wrap.

Hey Bart,

the Zilko was a brass cymbal made by Paiste from 1947 to 1958/9

If it has Switzerland on it, it was made in 1957 or early 1958

If it does not have Switzerland on it, it was made it the German factory.

Are you sure the cymbal is 15"? My understanding is 14" was the largest size Zilko made.

Also, can you get me a weight on the cymbal? Thanks!
