can anyone help me on more info on these cymbals. all i can think of is that they are from the 60's 70's zildjian brand. 22 inch medium ride and 14 inch high hats. the symbol from zildjian is found on all 3 cymbals.
zildjian viage ride and high hats need help identify
Early 70's.
value? im looking to sell them
The best way to determine that would be to check the final auction values for similar ones on eBay under the cymbals dept and "completed items".
yeah dunno couldn't find any im trying to sell the set for 400
i dont really use ebay at all so i guess ill throw them away if i cant sell em on here

Hmm...that doesn't sound good. You could at least donate them to a young drummer or something. Throwing them away seems like such a waste.
$400 is WAY too steep, especially right now during the pre-Christmas "push". The ride is probably worth about $175, and the hats are more like $130ish. But, with the economy still "down" (if you believe the media), you could probably sell the hats for $100 and the ride for $120, easy. But, with the previously-mentioned pre-holiday market, you might not be able to get that much. Well, that's how it is in Portland, anyways.
If anything, throw them up on craigslist for $50 a piece...you'll have $100 in your pocket, and they'll be gone TODAY (and probably back on craigslist tomorrow)! If you don't have craigslist available where you are, sell them to a pawn shop or give them away...

1970 Ludwig Jazzette
Yeah, 400 is out of control. These hats are worth 80-120 at very best. Will someone pay more than that, maybe?
There are plenty of places out there working with the "make a wish" foundation. You could make a poor but talented young drummer VERY happy this Christmas! If you didn't pay much for them to begin with, a donation might be in order...
Good luck!
thanks. and yeah ill either hoard them till they gain value ( if ever), or sell them but not give them away.
