I can tell you one thing. That price is a rip-off.

I could say more about this cymbal but you probably wouldn't like it, so I'll just leave it at that.

Well, I didn't want to post this....

But decided I'm going to do it anyway. And then I'm going to get right out of town before the excrement hits the rotating oscillator.

I don't think that there's anything special about these "hand picked" cymbals. They're just another piece of garbage from the Armand era except that they have a laser stamp with his name added. Armand downgraded the quality of Zildjian's cymbals during his reign, not caring about anything except how many "units" he could produce for as cheaply as possible. What resulted from this philosophy was cymbals that were too heavy, clangy, metallic, sterile sounding, mediocre in quality, and cookie cutter. The company is just now starting to recover from the damage to the Zildjian name that he caused.

According to the seller, it`s very rare, highly coveted, and hand picked best Zildjian makes .....So why`s he selling it ?

The reason,...I need the cash.

The real reason ....It`s their least liked, very rare, highly coveted, handpicked best Zildjian !i That kinda contradicts itself,....doesn`t it ?

Don't hold back Bill! Learn to express your feelings. ;) But I pretty much agree with everything you said. There has hardly been a A made in the last 30 years or more that I have found enjoyable to listen to.

I've been trying to come out of my shell for some years now. Progress is a bit slow, but I'm working on it.
