Hi to all. Since my one and only post, I have been gaining knowledge from many informative previous posts. I think I have got enough information for the great cymbal detectives and historians. Cymbal in question of age and value is an 18 inch wafer thin crash, coming in at 995 grams. It seems very light weight compared to past found information. I also have included a photo of either a faint signature or just a bizarre scratch formation on the under side of the bell. I hope you find it interesting. Many thanks.[Attachment: 62962]

I really don't know much about old K's,,,,but I do know that one is thin,,,,I wonder what is sounds like????

Compared to 70's zildjian 16in crash... Bell of 16 is a higher note yet cymbal proper is lower than K18in. K18 has a bright and lively tone which resonates quickly to full attack and fades away quite slowly. Full bodied and happy sound.
