You know...I actually wonder if someone like Matt Bettis could do some light lathing to the top to obscure those scratches; without nullifying the original stamp too much...

....and then lathe a bit more off the bottom to take off some of the weight. I bet it'd be an awesome cymbal if it dropped 400g or so.....

....that guy you bought it from seemed a bit of an oddball...I hope he got the weight wrong, because 2700g for an 18" cymbal is....

wow.....that's a heavy weight for 22" cymbal.....

Thanks for the info.

It's still for sale.

From Fgxf

500 bucks.

So let's see now....it's been here a total of 4 months and in all that time it still didn't sell.

So do you think there might just possibly be an outside chance that it's actually not worth $500?

That's been tried before with at least one old K…..and with completely disastrous result I might add.

What's been done to this cymbal so far is an abomination. Let's not suggest something else equally as abominable that will not only destroy the sound, but will also destroy any last vestige of monetary worth that it might still have......if any.

It seems kind of worthless being its been tampered with and sandpapered.

It probably sounds great but throw it on ebay cheap and get what it goes for. As far as $500.00 not even close.

hey, I don't wanna do anything to it (no lathing, no 400g off, it's "changed" from original as it is)...

I do not try to obtain (with my life Lame ) 500$... as you can see, I droped the price.

Who is interested in having it, make an offer.

See ya soon.

Peace.

I've measured a couple of weeks before, but I forgot about this forum, sorry Welcome .

The exact measure is 42,5 cm (17" inches).

I didn't weight it yet, hopefully soon and hope do not forget again.

Peace.
