I have been looking for a crashable ride lately. I found a 22" Zildjian A with the hollow ink logo. The cost of the cymbal is $135.00.
Without me mentioning what I was looking for the seller mentioned that it was a good crashable ride with a great bell sound.
The weight of the cymbal is 3200 grams. Pretty heavy I know.
My questions are as follows:
Is this cymbal from the late 70's early 80's?
Does anyone have experience with a cymbal similar to this one and if so do you think it will meet my demands?
Based on what I have learned on this forum a 3200 gram cymbal can still sound washy depending on taper and where the metal is distributed.
The third pic shows the logo on the underside of the cymbal.
