I was very close to buying one at the Rebeats Chicago drum show awhile back. Had the same sound and wobble as that one.
Seller was going to sell it to me for $500. Kinda wish I bought it now but it was all I had then.

My cousin had one...It was crazy big and looked really out of place on a drum set. I asked him about it after years and years and he said that he pawned it for some quick cash. I think these things were made for orchestral work.

It's a beautiful achievement in craftsmanship, but I am struggling to imagine a musical use for it.
I checked their site and it is not listed. What was the asking price and what type stamp/ era did they say it is from? Thanks
