ZILCO Constantinople

Loading...

I was going through my "excess" drum items and happened to run across what I believe to be a very old 13" cymbal with some type of stamp, a sword, and the following words engraved on it:

ZILCO CONSTANTINOPLE MADE IN USA

I've attached a little "artwork" (please don't laugh!) to give you a general idea of how the stamp, the sword, and the wording appear on the cymbal.

I'm going to get rid of this one and am simply trying to identify its age and possible value (if any).

Any "words of wisdom" would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

These are nice little cymbals. I have a very thin 11" splash. Sadly it's cracked and retired for the most part. Cymbal is so thin the Zilco stamp is very, very faint. Would have crashed right through I think if it was pressed harder. Cool part of Zildjian/Sabian history though!

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.
