i have a set of yamaha drums the only markings on them is on the tom mounts that say yamaha made in england,has anyone ever heard of that no badges no serial numbers thanks

Well, Yamaha drums were not made in England, where as Premier drums were. I can only think you have Premier tom mounts on yamaha drums. Pics would help!

Wrong - Yamaha bought the Premier Company in 1989 and there was a management buy out in 1995. In this period Yamaha "made in England " Power V came out at the same time as the APK range so you probably have a Power V kit.
