I would say so.

I do not believe they used that name for any other color.

If you search around, you can find pics of other members with that color kit.

I have that SDM-5 metal snare...it might be my most favorite !

I got my SDM-5 to go with my D-20 kit, and I have left it on that kit since getting it.

I think the Acrolite was/is a good match for the D-20 but the "correct" snare actually sounds good!

Way undervalued (which is good for us) and carried well into the 80's with the same shell but different lugs and strainer.
