Wurlitzer snare question

I have an old snare drum with Wurlitzer etched in the shell (a zig zag etch

likely done by hand). It is 14x4, 6 lug, flat metal rims with floating

grabs. The strainer is labled "8 Way" and is attached to the lower rim. It

looks like some mid twenties Ludwig snares I've seen on some sites. Is it

possible that ludwig produced snare drums for the Wurlitzer company to be

labled and sold as Wurlitzer Drums? If so, what is it's potential value.

I've inquired with many and have had no success. Maybe some one there has an

answer. Thank you for any help you can offer.

I think most Wurlitzer snare were "jobbed out" from Leedy, but may have parts from other manufactures. (That strainer may be made by the Wilson drum co.) A photo would be helpful. Most of the collectible Wurlitzers are 8 lugs ones made by Leedy in the 1920s. Earlier ones don't have the same appeal. Early 6 lug drums usually bring $100-250.
