I bought a nice vintage 60's WMP Trixon snare (1/440?) in a thrift shop last week. Everything is in really nice shape (even has the plastic drum key!) but the original snare wires are missing. I'd like to restore the drum.
Anyone have a set they'd part with?

I think this person, and the person I dealt with, is a scammer. He claimed to have the snare wires I needed, we struck a deal and I sent the money. I should have known better than to send it PP "friends and family" but he seemed very trustworthy.
Today I got an email requesting another $50 for shipping a set of snare wires....I don't think so. But now, of course, I'm out the original $$ out of plain stupidity.
Just wanted to let interested parties know.
Check this guy out on FB. I have ordered custom made and repaired Dynasonic wires from him. He likely can make the wire set you need.
NO SCAMMER HERE!
