WTB: Slingerland Bass Drum Spurs

Loading...

Hey gang,

I seek a pair of spurs for a 77-78 Slingerland kick drum. It's a 24 if that helps with the length. I have seen some on fleabay but the diameters and lengths are all over the place. I am assuming they are 3/8 diameter.

If anyone has a a pair please let me know.

I'm also missing one of the t screws for he spur mount... : )

Thanks in advance.

Hi Artie!

slingerfan is correct about the length. My 1970 Modern Solo kit is currently set up in my drum room, so I just removed one spur and measured it. Mine shows 11.25" from end to end. And, yes, they are 3/8" in diameter.

I have some 14.5x 3/8 I could part with. One of them is missing the tiny clip near the end.

I was curious why some Slingerland spurs are 11 inch and some are the 14 inch, so I checked my kits. My 77 and 79 kicks, both 22 inch, are equipped with the 14 inch, and my 72 24 inch kick has the 11 inch spurs.

I fabricate solid stainless steel reproductions, they include the clip & a new stainless steel reinforced rubber foot. I have the long & short versions.

Thanks, Steve.
