WTB: Ludwig 3-ply 10" tom

Loading...

I know that the 70s saw some Ludwig 3-ply 10" shells, usually concert toms, and they came with a few different depths and lug casing options. Here is the IDEAL tom I'm looking for:

Blue/Olive badge, 10x8 shell, 6 small classic lugs, silver sparkle wrap.

...while I know that this is a long shot, I'm also interested in hearing what else people might have, and see what I could make do with. I'm not interested in 10x6.5 shells or 4 lug models. Thank you.

I thought the 3 ply 70s B/O badged 10" toms only came in 5.5x10" w/5lugs,and almost always as concert toms?

As I recall, the "standard" concert tom depths when they first came out were 5.5" for 6" and 8" toms and 6.5" for 10" diameter drums. Il be interested to see what you find.

Interesting. I've only seen 4 and 6 lug models. I had an opportunity, years ago, to buy a Ludwig concert tom pair, 8x8 and 10x8, with a stand. Clear maple interiors with 1972 date stamps. I figured I would stumble upon another pair soon enough. :O
