WTB: 1960s Bop Kit (18" BD)

Loading...

I would very much like to find a 1960s bebop kit, that is, one with an 18" kick drum, 14" Floor tom and 12" Rack tom. Let me know what you have.

Thanks,

Kyle.

Hello Kyle.

I dunno if this would interest you or not, because it's a rewrap renovation.

But I am in the midst of working on 2 different bop kits.

1) Slingerland 8x12" rack, 12x14" floor, and a new Keller maple shell 12x18 "jazzette" size bass drum with re-rings (with vintage Slingerland chrome hardware to match the Slingy toms).

2) Also I have a 14x18 Gretsch bass drum, silver interior...which I was ging to match up with a pair of Keller toms, new 5-ply maples with Grestch-type edges; outfitted with Gretsch repro hardware to match the bass drum.

Like I said, not bona-fide factory kits, but they will be mighty nice jazz rigs.

PM if interested.

I might sell my green sparkle Oaklawn Camcos, 18,14,12. Re-wrapped. But they would not be cheap.

I have a nice 60's Rogers bop kit: http://www.classicvintagedrums.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_73&products_id=450

Also have a Gretsch RB 18-12-14 and Ludwig Jazzette I would consider selling.
