Wrap Lifting on Ludwig WMP Floor Tom

I just acquired a 1969 Ludwig Downbeat kit in White Marine Pearl. The wrap on the floor tom is lifting slightly at the seam.

Interestingly, the wrap on the floor tom is not tucked into the outer ply as on the other drums.

I just want to ensure it doesn't continue to lift and separate. However it's only come up by a few millimeters at this point and getting glue in there seems tricky without messing up the surrounding wrap.

I have read about 3M Fastbond adhesive for installing wrap but I'm not sure if that's the right thing for a small repair like this. I was thinking of using a dab of wood glue and clamping until dry.

Any suggestions as to what I should do?

You can wedge some tooth pics in the wrap area to lift it some to get the glue in better., then apply the wood glue. clamp and let it dry and set for at least 12 hours to be safe.

I repaired a seam on a Clubdate floor tom in blue sparkle. I took a long razor knife, the type that extends and has breakable sections and cut the wrap underneath the seam to get more surface area to glue. I went from seam to seam cutting it back. Started at one end and worked my way to the other in approx. 3-4 inch sections. I also used painters blue tape to cover each edge of the seam, to prevent any glue from sticking to wrap if it squeezed out when clamping. You'll need some long clamps and some flat wood shims to press it tight. Any glue residue that is dried on the outside of the seam can be gently cut away with the same razor knife.
