What do I think?!! I want to see a short video of you marching down the street with these! LoLoLoLo

Honestly, though, it's a pretty cool find...and for cheap!

Ok, now you have to re-wrap, add bottom lugs, hoops, heads and cut bearing edges. What's the point of buying those? You're going to spend another $100 per drum, unless you're going to turn them into tables.

Hey JohnnyDingo. The point why because I can..Just wanted to add some more marching drums into my collection..

BTW I would not do what it sounds like you would do with them if I was going to that why would I pay anyone to do that..Been making custom drums for years and re-storing them.

Ok guys I got the drums in today

This is the run down on them ,the sizes are 10x15 and 12x15not 16.

The badges date them 1969 shells are in ok condition edges are so so both drums started out double headed drum.

The 10x15 was a snare drum the 12x15 was a tom. someone painted them white the finish is gold sparkle under the white..

Oh both drums had the extra holes for the bottom lugs filled in.

Im thinking about making the 10x15 snare back into a snare, I can take the lugs off the other one, I have the other parts..

I know it will take sometime to remove the paint im hoping that the sparkle is two tone under it..

I will get working on them in a few months I have way to many drums to work on..

Great find...can't beat the price! Not saying you should, but worse case scenario, you could part them out and make some money. Custom projects are more fun though :)
