$100 obo. Is this a project (or too much of one?)
I know next to nothing about fixing up vintage drums - but I would like to change that!

Well we would like to help but need just a tad more info. Pics to start with.
LOL, you posted the pic while I was responding. Looks like Japan made stuff to me. Does that floor tom match the bass and toms? With the offset lugs and cool wrap it worth fixing up. But its missing parts ant that will cost you, so use that to bargin with and try for 50 bucks. If the floor tom matches then I would be interested, if not then the haeck with it.
Yeah, it looks interesting, but it requires a lot of new parts, so 100 usd is a little bit too much.

Thanks, guys - I appreciate the advice. What would you do about the finish? It appears to be worn down to the wood in places.
If you are reffering to the wrap as "the finish then I dont see what your talking about. If the wrap is bad then forget it, that the best part of it. But from what I see the wrap is good. It just finding and purchasing the missing parts thats a concern.
Thanks again. Going to see it this evening!
Great! let us know how it goes. Wish I was going to look at a kit tonight.
The wood floor tom looks to be a slingy.
