Thank you everybody!I passed on the Ludwig set last night, and two hours later I found a near mint 1960s Gretsch set! Burgundy sparkle, Jasper shells. Guess where the money went? ;)

We need pictures of the Gretsch kit. Did you get the one being sold at Badges Drum Shop?

Good for you, Mark. Are you going to use a wrap that was available in 1965 or have some fun with a new wrap that appeals to you?

It will be re-wrapped in the same color...Sparkling Red Pearl, AKA Red Glass Glitter.

No, I found mine on Reverb. It's a 3 piece with no snare, 13/16/20 and there is slight wrap lifting on the bass. And substantially less money!

Pics will come when it gets here, hopefully before the weekend.
