Real or not, ........its gone. Either someone is going to be very happy, or very disappointed.

The recent Red Ripple beavertail dynasonic that was listed for 2000 BIN, was something I agonized over for a whole day. I could have done it. I could have popped it on a credit card. I could have....... When the seller finally got around to calling me on the phone, my bidding and "want to" was all done. And I am glad I had the self control to resist that BIN. It would have been a bad buy.

I am the one who took the risk and bought this drum. I was nervous but it actually showed up yesterday. I am still scratching my head as to why and what it is. I found an era correct snare carriage for it and will put it on soon.

Have at it boys, what do you think?

I don't get your post Mr. Ploughman. I would love to hear your thoughts on the drum.

I wonder if those particular beavertails should actually be with that badge. And for me personally, I dont have anything to compare it with, ...my 13xx2 and my 53004 are too far away from that 28 thousand number for a comparison. The 13,000 drum has the heavier beavertais, the 53000 drum has the springless fullertons. As for beds, ........... it wouldnt be the first Ive seen since 1999. And a couple of them looked like they were cut with a chopping axe. And I guess its a blessing that the bed on this one wasnt. So therefore I say........i hope it is/was worth the risk.
