Well, wait...just a thought...the Acro is worth $125-150 or so if it's in decent shape....maybe talk him down to $225/250 ? if any of the shells are salvageable, you can at least make your $ back ?

I dunno....

What was the condition of the bass drum?

I'm looking for a 20 inch OBP with no modifications.

Bass Drum - White rough on the inside...3 chunks of wrap missing from the shell. 1966 Stamps, well what was left of the stamps..

Someone had painted the drums black with Krylon - Hardware and all - Not really that big of a deal, and I think I would have gone ahead and got them if the white was not so trashed and the wrap had not been so damaged.

I'm not one to shy away from a challenge, but I think there are better choices out there to spend time and money on.

OOf...sounds like kind of a "shells and lugs" only sorta deal...those wraps don't sound good. Nevertheless, for pillaging for parts, it's still a decent price if one is so inclined to take on the labor....
