The base won't come off ??

If the depth is 22 or less without the stand then it will go in the trunk.

This would be an adventure.... a drive to Pennsylvania to pick it up.

Greyhound shipping would be cheaper, I know, but the drive up north

and back would be priceless....

PS .... VTM, yes, I could fold up Shorty, and she would fit !!

I'm not too familiar with that particular model, but you could potentially take the base off. That may not an easy job because of the tuning mechanism, though. You'd probably be in for complete disassembly.

If you took the base and head off, maybe you could slip it over the back of the front passenger seat !!

I got a 28 inch bass drum into a Chevy Malibu... I think its possible may take a few minutes and some head scratching lol
