Once a month I drive my guitar player down to the Moose Lodge for "Country nite".Joe knows all of the guys in the band and half of the crowd. The drummer has these Amir cymbals that are 'bright' sounding. I just got my 60's Zildjian ride(20"),so I took it with us. I was hoping to hear it in a big band sound. On the second set we put my Vintage cymbal on the stand. Within 3 songs the drummer was waving at me giving the thumbs up and he had a big ole grin on his face.Once he found the sweet spot he played that ride way more than he did with his cymbal.Even the guys in the band could tell the difference.I gave him our website info so he could look around at the Vintage drum kits,and maybe say hello.Good nite for one and all.
