I use these heads exclusively for my 15" snare drum. I love these heads and they sound great. To answer your question, they already start off with a yellowish tone to them.flowers2
I've got a couple that aren't yellow at all.....
And I recently bought a new one that arrived white as the driven snow, it's already turning yellow... and no, I don't smoke ( maybe my dog smokes when I'm not home)
I wish they came in black.....oh well
