who uses these lugs?

I bought some drums on a local bazar for small money.

One is a 20" bassdrum, which is totaly colored in black - in a never seen bad quality. CryBaby

The bass has reinfocement rings and thin shells. These are the lugs:

The other one is a set of 22,12,13 named "champion I" in a bad condition.

The Holder and mounts look like Hoshino or early Tama stuff, so I think it is around that era.

I know typically champion as a sonor style or cheap asia stuff, but this one is good midclass work, something between original champion and copy.

They´ve these nice looking lugs:

Does anybody know something about the bassdrum or the champion in that style?

And: I am looking for some looks fpr the champion, cause there are broken or missing.

No idea on the first one, but the second one is by Pearl. Here is a catalog page from 1982:

On 1st photo --- I suppose that these lugs are from Rimmel's diecast shop ---for Trixons and some kinds of earlier Tactons.

Trixon often gets thrown in the melting pot of German drum lugs; many of which were manufactured in the Rimmel foundry and as a result , various similarities show up. Trixon lugs, however are unique( along with Tromsa) in that, with allowance for small shifts in the actual dimensions of the lugs , there really were only two styles, ever produced-----the long , so-called teardrop lugs and the squat, rectangular , ribbed , tank lugs with the mounting gaskets. That's it. Those are 100% , not Trixon lugs.....but the claws are very Trixon like ,to the point , that I would say , they are Trixon claws

The lugs do however, look more East Germany , George but they pre-date Tacton. The significant element on the drum, is the T-rod handles----they are very similar to the elongated ellipse used by both Sonor and Rimmel. Lefima used T-rod handles , like that too. The lugs are Lefima, from around 1960.

I would say, the drum is a Lefima but that possibly the claws have been changed. In that time, Lefima was using very narrow claws, the same as the Trowa ,of the period. There may be an imprint in the hoop, from older claws----unless for a brief period, Lefima switched to very Trixonesque claws.

A picture of the shell interior would be more definitive.

First lug I have no idea, the second lug is indeed the CB-700 from the catalog page, it's called a wristwatch lug
