I thought I had a crack at it until I got a call from the guy on CL saying " We still have the Orbitone but someone came by in like 10 minutes and bought that old kit"
That always makes me chuckle a bit even if I am disappointed I missed the score.
Anyway I would love to see some more pics of these drums if you get a chance. I hope a fellow VDF member swooped em up!

The best one that i missed in 2012 was in my home town it was an old gretsch blue sparkle kit complete for $250 i lost some sleep wishing that guy would have listed his phone number on kijiji .
