White Zebra Pearls or Lime Green Zebra Tamas?

Has anyone see many of these? I have seen one or two of the Pearls but never the Tamas. I know someone that is selling and not sure where I would want to be with them.

Wow those are striking, I'd be with them anywhere.

I am by far no Pearl expert, but I've owned the following Pearl Export set for a short time:

If I recall correctly, your Pearl wrap design was out of the same 'special wrap series', too, back in the early 80's. That series was quite rare, but overall they are still Pearl 'Exports', being sold - well, not in these special ones, but in other finishes - worldwide more than a million times ...

Concerning the Tama set: as the bass drum hoops are painted all over (which would be unusual for genuine factory making, where the hoop inlays, only, contain a small stripe of the same finish): I assume that the finish is a self-made one, not original by Tama.

Cheers, Ralf
