Hi Guys,

I'm wondering how common white onyx wrap is? I can't say that I have seen it personally, but there is a 3-piece for sale with what appears to be a white onyx wrap, and just because I'm not familiar with it...... let's just say I still have much to learn...

I've seen reds and blues and some orange, but white??

Comments appreciated

From further reading I guess it was actually called Black Agate Pearl

The white tiger pearl variety of that genus of wraps doesn't have near the pronounced striping. I wouldn't be at all surprised if black was the surname of it........

Thats a nice looking set.By the side way photo it looks to be a 60's set made by Pearl.I called that finish White Tiger.White is the rarest finish to come by i had not seen many sets .I see alot more Red,Blue and Orange than white sets over the 35+ years..If the set is in the condition it looks to be in and a price from 400.00 or less..I would buy it....Mikey

Slingerland called it Agate and Rogers called it Onyx. Same pattern though...

I have the one that gets mistaken for orange. It was actually called Gold, at least by Pearl/Tama. I'm not sure which one made US Mercury...
