Where can you get wrap made to match?

Hey guys I wanted to feel a couple things out as far as getting wrap for a FT to match my late 50's slingerland sparkling black pearl kit. Who could I contact to look into cost for this? Thanks for your time.

Precision Drum offers a custom wrap service. It's an expensive photographic process, but it works. Call and ask Andrea to send you the swatches for the wrap you want. In this case black sparkle pearl. The swatches offer a wide range of shades, so you can pretty much match up what you have on the drums with one of the swatches. It'll have a code number, all the swatches do. Provide the swatch number with your order. Custom wraps generally run two to three times the price of stock wraps.

I just got off the phone with Andrea. She said they weren't able to do matching wraps. I wonder if I didn't explain myself clearly. I told her about the drums I had and told her I was hoping to get wrap to match them. I mainly wanted to look into the actual cost of it to get a plan. I would love to get a matching FT for these sparkling black slingerlands and a bass drum for the club date SBP toms. Any other ideas?

Talk to Andy at Drum Supply House. http://www.drummaker.com/ColorWraps

It runs $166 a sheet and takes 6-8 weeks.

Curtis - I believe it was a miscommunication. I needed to match an old sparkle wrap from the 50's (blue sparkle on one side, red sparkle on the other, it made whichever color you were using darker than normal red or blue sparkle wraps,) Precision sent me the swatches for all the custom sparkle wrap shades and colors, including black. They offer color charts that allow you to match the color/fade on whichever color sparkle wrap you're looking for.

Call back. Tell her you want to match a vintage -black sparkle wrap-, that ought to do the trick.

If you can't make any progress with Andrea, try boomer's guy.

Keep us posted...
