I am trying to match up the interior paint on a Gretsch Round badge drum set from the 1960's. 25 years ago I was able to to use off the shelf Rust-Oleum (silver?) primer, and it was spot on perfect. I can't find that anymore, though now there are at least a dozen different types of primers available through that company. Does anyone know for certain what works? Paint name, Brand, and color model would be helpful. Thanks!
