Where Are The Sonor HLD 590`s For Sale These Days?

Loading...

I have one of these snares and have been watching them for sale on the net for the last one or two yrs and have seen nothing on them accept for a couple of ridiculously over priced parts.Who knows where these parts came from as no one in there right mind would want to dismantle one of these guys.Just wondering if anyone has seen one of these come up for sale recently that i may have missed.

There have been a few change hands on the sonor museum board lately and some for sale on ebay overseas.

With only around 200 or so made I see them more often that I would have thought, but I'm a regular over on that board.

Also it's not unusual to see these sell between 3500-5000 usd.

$7,066.51 USD. Seems high but I hope he gets it. That'll make mine worth at least that much.

Did you see the restoration of one over at the museum? Henk is doing a great job and not harming the copper at all. Excited

I am tempted to make my middle one a sig by copper plating the hardware and putting sig snare lugs on it. Eye Ball:rolleyes::D

Hey Latz, does the middle drum you mention have a throw-off II system on it? Looks like a nice snare! I suspect that is a rare one too.

Not sure Gary. It is a parallel action. There was only a $15 difference between this and the other. I think it is pretty rare as well. It was the first offering in 6" depth right around the designer era.
