The set is not a 60's
if legit that's a steal, although I don't know what 'losing errors' are.
Late 70's 6-ply kit......nice shape, but not worth the asking price.
The snare drum alone sells for $500.
That's a really good deal. Like Mo Tonkie pointed out, the snare alone is worth
about $500. The finish is also popular and a favorite among most Ludwig collectors.
It says everything in the pictures is included, I would say that's a darn good price.
I sent a message to the seller about "losing errors" and that the kit is a mid-to-late 70's. They apologized for the listing error, as it was done on an iPhone and they didn't proof read it. They also changed the title to say it's a 70's kit.
This is why I list from a computer with a large screen!
Oh, and I also agree that $1100 is a pretty good price for a Big Beat kit with a Supra 402, all original hardware, pro cymbals and a clear maple (thermogloss) finish!

Glad you got through to them, I sent them TWO emails with correct dating information & they ignored me (I was very polite). Maybe they got enough corrections that they finally gave in.
What did the ad originally state? And I concur that's a great price.
