Please could you help identify this slingerland snare up on ebay uk at the moment? You cant see the badge, and im wondering if its one of the cheap gibson owned era drums. Many thanks!Clapping Happy2

I couldn't find a snare shell that matched that pattern in "The Slingerland Book".. but it does kind of look like pictures of a CB700 snare shell.
But.. I don't know anything more than what I have read in few books or browsed up on the web.
Not a Guru... just interested..

Both Gretsch/HSS during 1989 - 1994 and Gibson during 1997 - 2000 packaged this style steel shell snare drum with their enonomy Spirit, and Spitfire / Spirit lines, respectively, of imported drums. Jim is very observant; the steel shell is the same stock as CB700.
