Can anyone tell me what brand this is?

Amati?

Drouyn?

Britisch made?

What are the changes of having imperial sizes (inches)?

I consider buying it for a nice old school jelly bean orphan kit.

John Grey would be my best guess as well

a friend of mine has a really sweet red sparkle Broadway kit

and he needs resonant side claws and rods

Those do look like the rods he has on the batter side so I am pretty sure it is a John Grey bass drum

thanx

rods look alike, but the lugs are slightly different.

your friend's seems to be a broadway

"mine" seems to be an autocrat.
