I think it`s very possible because they had access to the trim, but it would be 20`s B&H trim.

Yea, B&H use Leedy and Ludwig trim till the late twenties and I`ve never seen an Ajax post thirties with tube lugs. They had Leedy style in the early thirties and imperial style type in the mid thirties and then the teardrop copies in the fifties, so If this Ajax is thirties, it has twenties trim on it or it`s a twenties drum !i

Tell me what you think , The last two pics. are copy of the first one....to me, but you could reverse it and say the first is a copy of the second and third. All are 50`s !i

Hi mate, really got me stumped this one, a friend asked me the question as he has had this for over 30 years, but cant see the smae snare anywhere. It looks similar to the snare on the Hindley site but still quite a bit different, i agree with the post war badge.

Maybe Phil is in the right direction but not sure on that one too..

Any chance of get`n a pic. with the batter head off close up and maybe the throw and damper too ?
