What's the story behind this drum?

I know that's Remo Belli, I seem to vaguely remember something about the drum being built for Disney, would love to get the story :)

After a little internet research, I found this article... https://www.drummercafe.com/music-industry/featured-article/purdue-big-bass-drum-turns-90-years-old.html

Scroll down to "World's largest bass drum?" There's only a small mention that Mr. Belli "made a large bass drum in the 1960's in an effort to 'dramatize' the advantages of mylar as a drum head material."
