What's a fair price for a 60s slingerland bass drum, 24 inch?

Hey guys,

I've been playing a 20 inch 60s slingerland bass drum for the past few months and I love it. I just started playing in a trad jazz group, and I was looking for something bigger to get a more authentic sound. The 20 inch is really punchy, but the guys I've seen play at preservation hall and elsewhere around town (I live in new orleans now) play some big ass drums. I found a 24 inch slingerland bass drum on clist, but the original finish was completely removed, and the drum was poorly re-finished. He's asking 150, which I know is high...what do you think is a fair price? I still need to hear it, I don't know whether it will work for my gigs or not.

If it's complete with correct hardware and decent heads, it's not a bad deal.
