Whatcha Say/Burnin' Up Drum Covers!

Loading...

hi all,

back again with a few new covers.

the first one is a very different, up tempo version of burnin' up.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99M1Mmk0glk[/ame]

the second is whatcha say. but burnin up took 4 hours to upload for some reason. so i'm uploading whatcha say now. i'll post the link in this thread as soon as its up.

probably in 3 hours time.

- like the last time, i'm playing my own groove ideas but still hopefully playing musically.

let me know what you think.

I'd say I have to work on my left a bit, or are you naturally lefty?

I like that ride too, what is it?

Nice work man...

hey again,

thanks very much for your comment! - i'm left handed but i learnt drums right handed for the first 5 years.

the ride in burnin up is a bosphorus 20" thin traditional ride.

here's "whatcha say" as promised.

check it out if you like.

I'm impressed with your texture and feel. You appear young (though not as cute as me). It's unusual for someone as youthful as yourself to have this level of depth of touch. I especially stayed focused on your ride and hat work. Very interesting stuff. You have a real feel for the drag and breath. Dang. Good stuff.

thanks so much for your thoughtful comment. i have spent a lot of time on trying to play with a good feeling and use dynamics.
